To Our Local Community
We continue to wish you well and good health through the current health crisis. The well being of the families we assist and all who attend the Services to support them, as well as our team’s health is of great importance to Fry Bros.
To conform with current government regulations, the following measures and precautions will be in place at our Services, to assist in the prevention of the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.
Advice on how to provide proof of vaccination: please see link above this post.
Current government advice states that
Restrictions have recently been lifted, so that the potential maximum number of attendees at a funeral can be 100 if all are fully vaccinated against Covid 19 (that is, have received two doses of Covid vaccine) and can provide a copy of their vaccination certificate.
The amount of attendees that can attend depends on the following factors:
- The size of the venue will decide the maximum amount of people that may attend as this is subject to the 4 square metre rule.
- if any person attending has not had the double vaccination, the maximum amount of attendees is 10
- For services with more than 10 attendees, proof of full vaccination will be required. Click here to learn how to create and produce your Covid-19 vaccination certificate of proof
- Social distancing at 4 square metres is required.
Where there is the capacity, some venues will allow attendees to stand outside the premises where the funeral is held. The availability for outside attendance varies greatly between venues. Total attendance maximum 100.
Upon arrival, attendees will need to use their mobile phones to scan the QR code to register their attendance and provide proof of vaccination. Early arrival and bringing your mobile phone to the Service is encouraged. Downloading the Services NSW app as well as your proof of vaccination certificate via “mygov” will speed this process. It may be helpful to print out the certificate for friends and relatives who prefer a non digital life.
Singing only by performers, including in places of worship.
Mourners may leave a tribute message on their loved one’s memorial page on the Fry Bros’ website.
Please call for any clarification. We will keep you updated with any changes.
