It is with great sadness that Melissa and family announce Ricky’s passing.
Ricky was the much‑loved husband of Melissa, devoted father to Jack and Ruby, cherished son‑in‑law of Gerard and SaySee, adored brother‑in‑law to Sacha, and a wonderful uncle to Phoenix and Marceline.
Ricky was a loyal friend to many and will be remembered for his kindness, humour, and the enormous love he had for his family.
Family and friends are warmly invited to the Celebration of Ricky’s life at Maitland Town Hall, High St, Maitland on THURSDAY, 19th February, 2026 at 11am.
In honour of Ricky, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
